Don't Be Greedy

Dec 12, 2021

Not too long ago we celebrated Thanksgiving and it is a wonderful holiday. We get together with family and friends, have a nice meal and remember everything we're grateful for. It's crazy that one day after thanksgiving is the biggest day of greed and ungratefulness, Black Friday! Black Friday sounds great at first! Tons of insane deals on stuff, and you save money! However this a day where people only think about themselves! There's fights every year over all this stuff. Why would anybody fight somebody over a tv? Because they're greedy, not grateful. Gratefulness is something we need to have all the time, not just on thanksgiving. We just need to focus on what God has blessed us with, not what we don't have. In America we have more than most of the world! Access to public school, if you're reading this you have access to the internet, and a personal device. That's huge! There's always something to be grateful for. This week ask God to help you not be greedy and to have a grateful heart!
Our Memory Verse this week is:
“Give thanks in all circumstances..." 1st Thessalonians 5:18
